Printex Deal ‘Perfect Ten’ for Heidelberg
New Zealand printer Taieri Print signed a deal at Printex 07 for the longest A3 perfecting press to be installed by Heidelberg in the country – a SM52-10P.
The long perfector is the latest in a series of decisive investments by the Dunedin printer which have seen the business grow considerably over the past few years.
Taieri’s growth trend started in earnest when just over three years ago they purchased a SM52-2P, a SM52-4 and a Polysetter platesetter. Taieri Managing Director Peter Moore said, “with the increased capacity from those investments our business has grown by nearly 300% in just over three years.”
