Taieri Print endeavours to minimise waste through proactive job planning and quality control systems at each step in the production process. We use environmentally friendly soy inks and encourage our clients to use recycled or partially recycled paper stocks where ever possible. We recycle unusable paper off-cuts and aluminium printing plates with Otago recyclers. Any chemicals necessary for the printing process are selected on the basis of which option has the least environmental impact. Taieri Print is set on large grounds extensively planted with natives and shrubs improving aesthetics for staff and visitors while working towards offsetting carbon emissions. In addition all equipment and lights are turned off when not in use.
